Hello, My Populous username is Akira and this is my application to join GoD.
My real name is Martin, i'm 21 years old and i work in the British Army - stationed in Germany.
Iv'e been playing populous online since 04' - 05', however in recent years i haven't been as active as i would of liked due to the commitments my job demand. That being said, i have been apart of the community for a number of years and i don't plan on going anywhere just yet.
As stated before I reside in Germany where unforntunetely my ping is rather high due the over use of my public access internet conection and i am also unable to host there too. Although when i'm in London,England (my hoem town) this is not the case...incidently my home in London is only 10minutes away from Slayer.

I have over 600+ on the points league which is lower than it should be due to a name change or two. The most recent name change i can remember was a few years back when i used to be called Mave, a name which Addiction still prefers to refer me as.

I also used to lead a clan called The Great Wall or simply Tgw, which was primarely a clan for asian players due there being an influx of far eastern players in the community at the time, that and my fascination with that part of the world. The other clan leader was Frankie, a talented player who sadly isn't active anymore.

In my spare time i have also made various populous training videos, with my most recent being feb 09'. I do this to explain various different aspects of the populous game play to help new players adjust easier to the demands of online play and also because i enjoy it.
I record my videos using a software program called Fraps and i edited them using windows movie maker.

I wish to join GoD because i've noticed this is a clan which isn't going to fade anytime soon, there's alot of talented and friendly players here and i would like to be apart of that.

My game skill has notably diminished since i've been back, however i still give a good game and i am always looking to improve.
